For sorting in smart sorting machine, the input conveyor feeds the grains into the machine and quickly drop them onto the output conveyor. As the grains hover in the air between the conveyors, they pass in front of projectors, cameras, lasers, and other sensors. The sensors collect information and the cameras capture images of the grains.
The required data is obtained for each grain and fed to the system. After the grain is identified, the machine separates the required grains and automatically places them in a separate section. There is no contact with humans or contaminating objects. All steps are completed in a fraction of a second. The machine can sort a large volume of products such as pistachios, pistachio kernels, coffee, beans, raisins, and other items.
